Arrive at San Juan International Airport, meet your Karaya Travel leader, and transfer to your Isla Verde hotel. After settling in, students participate in an informal Spanish orientation session and icebreakers. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a beachfront restaurant.


Day 2
Old San Juan Language Challenge
Students embark on a guided walking tour of Old San Juan, with their guide weaving in history and language practice. Teams complete a scavenger hunt requiring them to ask locals for directions, order snacks in Spanish, and identify cultural landmarks. Afternoon free for exploring before returning for dinner.
Day 3
Arts + Culinary Traditions
Morning Spanish cooking class with a local chef, learning recipes and related vocabulary. Afternoon salsa dance workshop with a professional instructor. Evening beach social where students share what they learned in Spanish.


Day 4
South Island Connection
After breakfast, travel south to Copamarina Beach Resort. On the way, stop for a guided agri-tour at a working farm, meeting local farmers and practicing Spanish in real conversations. Evening free at the resort with dinner provided.
Day 5
Coastal Culture + Farewell
Morning visit to a local market where students practice Spanish by interacting with shopkeepers and sampling local treats. Lunch at a panadería before returning to the resort for some afternoon beach time.
